In the laid-back coastal City of Gentle People, Dumaguete, an enduring monument of American education and influence can be found. Named after its benefactor, Horace B. Silliman, LlD, the Silliman Hall was completed in 1903.

Silliman HallIt is now the oldest existing American structure in the country. No longer used as an academic building, the Silliman Hall has since become the SU Anthropology Museum.
