Kabigan FallsKabigan Falls is one of my favorite spots in Ilocos Norte. It has always been part of my itinerary whenever I bring a group to Ilocos for a weekend road trip. Just this year alone, I visited this waterfalls four times!

Kabigan FallsWhenever I see my guests enjoying in its cool waters, I find great satisfaction and relief. The time that we spent in Kabigan Falls seems to be rather quick though.

Kabigan FallsA kilometer and a half away from Barangay Balaoi reached via a leisurely 30-minute walk, Kabigan Falls flows through an 84-foot drop, feeding waters to a natural pool that provides refreshing dip to visitors.

Kabigan FallsAs tourists flock in this destination, it creates income-generating opportunities for the residents. Visitors are required to get guides (P100 for one to four persons; P20 per head if five or more). Entrance fee is P20 per person. Guests can buy snacks such as fresh buko juice, banana cue, carioca, banana blossom fritters, and the likes. They can also have their sumptuous lunch prepared by the locals.
