Location: Binalayan, Samboan, Cebu
Type: Curtain ledge

Soon after I have conquered Aguinid Falls, I headed back to the highway where I found a turo turo for my breakfast. While I eating, I engaged the locals in a friendly chit chat. I told them about my trip to Samboan and if they can help me see more waterfalls within the area.

Binalayan FallsThey told me about another waterfalls which is just walking distance. Okay, in the province when they said it is near or just a walking distance, maybe they refer to it be just a mile away or so. Anyway, I have enough calories to burn, so what is one kilometer to walk. I saw a nipa house near the bridge that is under construction. A woman came out and I asked her where is the trail going to Hidden Falls. And she directed me to it.

Binalayan FallsAs I kept on walking the trail suddenly disappeared. So, I thought I just have to follow the upstream. Maybe that would lead me to the Hidden Falls. In a few minutes I saw the path near the stream. Then I finally reached the waterfalls.

Binalayan FallsAlthough the wide basin fed by the punchbowl waterfall is already magnificent, the triple drop of Hidden Falls is even more stunningly beautiful! It was definitely worth the hassles and getting lost at the same time.
