By deliberate action, I would squeak time during my personal trips and group tour to attend Sunday services of Victory Christian Fellowship. This made my travels even more meaningful.
This year, I have attended the Sunday services of VCF Bacolod (January 8, 5PM), VCF Dumaguete (April 1, 5PM), VCF Tacloban (June 10, 10AM), VCF Davao (July 1, 4PM), and VCF Baguio-Session (September 30, 2PM). In previous years, I have been to Victory churches in Santiago City, Lucena City, Cebu City and Iloilo City. I narrowly missed the services of Roxas City, CDO, Batac City and Laoag City.
Attending these churches compelled me to become more creative in scheduling the activities and itineraries. Of course, I was thankful that some of my guests were understanding with regards to my faith, belief, and spirituality. There is a profound joy in fellowshipping with my brethren in the provinces. But being an anonymous entity is a most welcome experience.
By becoming an itinerant Christian, keeping grounded still through fellowship with other believers has never been absent in mind because there are considerable amount of temptations being thrown here and there. I won’t go so far in identifying and dignifying it. So, I have always been conscious of getting plugged in whenever possible.
In 2013, I plan to maybe attend at least six churches, possibly in Zamboanga, Pagadian, Dipolog, Iligan, CDO, and General Santos, while going around the country on personal trips and group tours.
