Because of what transpired in Zamboanga City the past days, a heightened alert status in the coastal towns of Zamboanga Peninsula Region was issued. And I was advised by Auntie Carmelita that instead of going to Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, I have to go somewhere else.

Pulacan Falls in Labangan, Zamboanga del SurBefore lunch time, I and Moy Moy, Auntie Lita’s nephew, drove up north to visit a waterfalls right at the edge of the Pan-Philippine Highway and within the vicinity of the headquarters of the 1st Infantry Division in Camp Major Cesar Sang-an in Upper Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

Pulacan Falls in Labangan, Zamboanga del SurAs soon as I started to walk going down to the falls, right away it blew me off my feet. Pulacan is every inch a majestic waterfall.

Its roaring waters are just as eager to cascade down in different slides thus displaying magnificent view that can easily enthrall a visitor and carry it to a fantasy-like moment.
