The final segment of our San Agustin stop is Trangkalan Falls.
Earlier in the day, we tremendously enjoyed our Chasing Busai Falls in Brgy. Dubduban. So, a similar level of fun and satisfaction was being hoped for.
And Trangkalan Falls did not disappoint.
Trangkalan Falls is composed of a series of more than ten waterfalls. Some of which are swimmable, some are great for showers.
After gathering my wits, I was like a wild horse on the loose, galloping and roaming free. From one waterfall to another, I had the time of my life. Even the boulders were less-than-formidable obstacles for an adrenaline-induced waterfall chaser in me.
With so much adrenaline pumping me up, I managed to go down to the last tier of Trangkalan. But it got drained when I was about to assault the three top tiers. Or maybe there could have been more up there. It did not help that taller than houses boulders got in the way.
To go to Trangkalan Falls, it is highly suggested to rent a motorcycle at San Agustin town proper. There are limited public transportations plying the San Agustin–Alcantara route. Travel time from the town proper to the falls is around 30 minutes.
Note: This is part of LegendHarry‘s ambitious travel project: Chasing Philippine Waterfalls and the seven-day Romblon Backpacking Trip.
