Our Romblon Backpacking Trip had gifted us with several pleasant surprises. For the Sibuyan Island segment, it was the resort that we stayed in.
Sitting on rolling hills covered with plants and trees of various species, Sanctuary Garden Resort exudes natural calmness and serenity. For tired and weary bodies and souls, staying at the resort is a welcome respite and a rejuvenating experience. From different rooms and points of the resort, you can have a magnificent view of Mount Guiting Guiting Natural Park.
The resort was made of materials abundant in the island and the owners spared no expense in its construction. It thus helps create a sense of luxury and blissfulness.
Each of the rooms have different in-room amenities. For example, the duplex Hibiscus 1 Building, the rooms have hot and cold shower, a refrigerator, and a satellite TV. All units have balconies while the dorm has a huge lounge. All guests are provided with clean and smooth towels.
Providing the Resort with more relaxing and rejuvenating experience for its guests are the camping ground, open air huts, the natural pool of Pawala River and the hiking trail beside it. The resort also has convention hall which can accommodate up to 300 persons and a billiard hall. One can sit, sleep, meditate, relax, read books all day in one of those open huts undisturbed.
The resort also rents out mountain bikes, motorcycles, multicabs, jeep and kayaks.
Rates start at P250 per head a night (dorm, two double deck, fan room). You can check their rates here.
